6 km from CascianaTerme, an ancient village already known by the Romans in the imperial age for its thermal waters, and today a tourist and wellness centre.

20km from Volterra, 30km from the castle of S. Gimignano, while Pisa is just over 35km away and Florence 50 km.

On the other side of the hills, along a panoramic road leading for about 35km to the seaside, with Castiglioncello, Vada and Rosignano (Province of Livorno).

There are numerous historical monuments, Romanesque churches to visit, the town and stretch of hills surrounding it are picturesque; even more renowned is the gastronomic tradition, in which the typical dish is “the King of the Bush”, the wild boar.
